This darling girl had a tough beginning at Whiskers, going through a complicated spay surgery that led to two more procedures, and being so timid she preferred to hide than be loved. But now? “She has come such a long way in her year here,” says her foster dad. “She went from a scared girl that preferred to hide in cabinets to an outgoing kitty looking for attention.” Vera would thrive with a patient adopter who would give her time to settle in, a friendly feline sibling to help show her the ropes, and a steady supply of belly rubs. “She loves belly rubs. She will roll over to show you her belly when she is happiest.” Nothing would make us happier than to see this gentle, persevering girl find the forever home she deserves!
