Whiskers TNR’s primary purpose is to improve the quality of life for cats in Warren County by working directly with the caregiver of the cat to coordinate spay/neuter and vaccinations. The unwanted kittens that are relocated into our foster homes during TNR projects are adopted out through Whiskers.
While we never adopt a cat or kitten that we have reason to believe is ill or has been exposed to disease, there are no adequate tests for certain viruses and infections. We adopt out cats in good faith but cannot guarantee their continued good health. All veterinary services required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter unless specifically waived by Whiskers TNR of Warren County for advanced medical and special needs adoptions.
It is the responsibility of you, the adopter, to establish a relationship for veterinary care for your new cat or kitten within 14 days of adoption. It is expected that you will continue veterinary care and annual wellness exams provided by a licensed veterinarian. Please do not declaw your cat.
We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility that houses adoptable cats. All of our cats and kittens can be seen on our website with their photos and descriptions posted.
Submit an adoption application when the cat you are interested in adopting is posted as available. Please review the adoption contract (link below), as this will be required for you to sign if approved to adopt.
We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
Once your application has been approved and you have been matched with a kitty, we will contact you with adoption day details. As a Petco Partner, we strive to finalize all of our adoptions in a Petco store
