Cordelia

Hi! My Name Is Cordelia

I'm Available

When Cordelia arrived as part of a trap-neuter-return project, the plan was to return her to her outdoor home – hence her TNR “ear tip.” But not only did she wow us with her sweet personality, veterinarians discovered that she has a congenital heart condition, ventral septal defect. It’s not uncommon in animals – or people, for that matter – but it does mean she’ll need an indoor home where she can receive daily medication. But according to her foster dad, this stunning “mini panther” is more than worth it. “She is such a petite girl that is so sweet when she gets to know you,” he said. We’re optimistic that she can live out a normal life, grateful to Critter Crusaders and the veterinarians at Iowa State University who helped with Cordelia’s care, and thrilled that she’s ready to find a foster-to-adopt home – especially if it’s a calm setting and includes a feline buddy. Cordelia may be all black, but you should see how she lights up when playing with other cats! Do you have a heart for darling Cordelia?
