Sometimes you just can’t help but cheer a little harder for certain cats. Our gentle giant, Tommy Cat, is definitely one of those! For years he’d been living in rough conditions in a garage, his caretakers an elderly couple who meant well but struggled to care for him. Now in a Whiskers foster home, Tommy Cat is showing his sky’s-the-limit potential! “He is craving attention and does not want you to leave him,” says his foster mom. “He would rather be petted than eat. He loves his face rubbed and has started trying to meow.” That’s right – Tommy Cat’s solitary life had meant no one to “talk” with, so he has the sweetest, slightly quirky meow now that he’s finding his voice. Tommy Cat’s future family will need to have patience as he also continues to adjust to the sights and sounds of indoor life, but he’s more than worth the effort. “I suspect at some point he will be a lap cat as he so wants attention. … He would be a joy to have.”
