While most people were celebrating on New Year’s Eve, Sue Ann and the rest of her litter were fighting to survive in the bitter cold. Then came along Whiskers volunteers! “Considering how cold it was the next day, I have no doubt that they would not have made it,” says Sue Ann’s foster mom. Now they’re known as “Betty White litter” in honor of the beloved actress who passed away the same day they were rescued, with Sue Ann named after Betty’s character on the “Mary Tyler Moore Show.” Our Sue Ann is still adjusting to indoors life, but already has found her favorite pastime: spa night! “Sue Ann likes to keep her luscious locks looking their best, so she actually quite enjoys being brushed.” She also has a sweet tendency of making plenty of eye contact with her person and “she likes affection, on her terms.” She would thrive in a home where she can “take her time to get to know you and love you.” Are you just the person to help Sue Ann realize her full star potential?
