In this year’s Olympic-sized pool of kittens, Spitz is a standout with his “sleek black coat” and his athletic abilities. He most definitely lives up to his namesake, gold-medalist swimmer Mark Spitz … although our Spitz would have a knack for a different event. “He is a very energetic boy that is always on the lookout for a wrestling match,” says his foster dad. Spitz was born at Whiskers to a mama cat taken in from a large outdoor colony that we assisted to completely spay or neuter, and he isn’t wasting a moment of this chance at a better life. “He is always in constant state of play. He and his two brothers are quite the handful with their rowdiness!” In fact, this little champ would “do great anywhere” for a forever home. Can Spitz make a splash in yours?
