Things are looking up for our darling girl, Skye. At first, she was “so afraid of everything when we brought her home,” says her foster mom, “that she sat in the far corner of the condo and would shake when we reached in to pet her.” But now, Skye’s cuddliness is her mom’s favorite thing about her! She often “kneads bread” out of contentment and might even try to nurse a soft blanket. She gets along with kids, adults and other cats – and dogs with some encouragement. Her foster mom’s advice to Skye’s forever family? “Give her patience at the beginning while she realizes that you want to love her and aren’t going to hurt her.” The sky’s the limit on how much Skye will love in return!
