Skip’s life could’ve turned out very differently. Born to a mama who was bullied terribly by the
other outdoor cats they lived with, we have to wonder whether he was headed down the same
road. But thanks to a kind human’s work, Skip and his mama, Sheba, are both being loved in
Whiskers TNR foster homes as they await adoption. “He has a big purr and loves to be loved,”
their advocate says of Skip. Her favorite thing about him is “how quickly he accepted humans”
and how sweet and silly he’d always be when she’d stop by the check on them. “He and all his
siblings loved chasing leaves and pouncing on each other.” Her hunch is that Skip’s adaptable
ways will continue in his forever home, where he’ll likely get along with cats, older kids and
some dogs with a thoughtful introduction. Is the perfect home for Skip just a hop, skip and a
