When Whiskers TNR found Silvertone, she was trying her best to care for newborn kittens outdoors at a mobile home park. Of course, the plight of this precious young mama and her brood – who became known as the “guitar litter” – struck a chord with us. “She has turned into the sweetest girl,” says her foster dad. “She immediately greets you at the door and follows you around literally asking for pets.” And now that Silvertone is enjoying a permanent change of tune from motherhood, she’s discovering the other joys of being someone’s indoor cat – like mice toys to bat around and that funny waterfall that humans operate. “Crazy enough, she also loves to play in the running water faucet in the sink.” With her stunning silver tabby coat and her laidback personality, Silvertone would be a hit in almost any home.
