It’s no coincidence that in the “Bee Litter,” Russ is named for the hardy Russian honeybee.
“Much like his bee counterpart, he should be very winter-hearty with his extra furry coat,” says
his foster mom. “He’s the biggest of the bunch, so I expect him to grow into a pretty big adult
cat.” Russ’s favorite pastimes are to go to battle with a stuffed fox toy (“He attacks it and chases
it all over!”) and being generally ornery but oh-so-adorable. “If Russ was a child, he’d be the kid
who knew how cute he was, so he could get away with being a little naughty.” In fact, his foster
mom thinks he’d be happiest in a forever home where he could find plenty of attention and
maybe even the companionship of a furry friend. “When I hold him, he just melts in my arms.
He becomes like a limp noodle.”
