From those adorably unique tufts of hair in her ears to her extremely sweet disposition, Rarebit is one rare kitten. As for her unusual name? She and her siblings were found dumpster diving at the popular Hitchin’ Post Grill. It only seemed fitting to name them after our favorite items on the menu! And now, Rarebit is enjoying a second course in life as she awaits adoption. “Rarebit is one of the sweetest cats I’ve met,” says her foster mom. “She is so friendly and laid back, not to mention adorable!” Rarebit loves to greet people as they come through the door, watch birds out the window, and chase/pounce on all manner of toys. But she always has a craving for snuggles. “Her affection!” her foster mom said when asked about her favorite thing about her. “Rarebit would love a home where she can be part of the action and near her people.”
