Penelope must know she was named for a character on “Palm Royale,” the hit TV show set in Palm Beach. First, there’s her very un-catlike affinity for water. “She loves it!” says her foster mom. “She has taken a bath before and will dip her paw in water to drink.” Then there’s her appreciation for kitty spa days, whether it’s someone trimming her nails or one of the resident cats “getting that hard-to-reach” spot that needs preening. But as adorable as Penelope’s favorite pastimes are, it’s her love of people that really puts this beautiful girl on the map. She purrs if a person so much as looks at her, “likes to chatter at you when she wants attention,” and begs to be picked up. And if someone is looking for a kitten duo, Penelope and her sister, Dinah, get along swimmingly. Either way, Penelope will make a splash in her forever home!
