Minerva was a stray, and little more than a kitten herself, when she had her babies outdoors this spring. When they were all brought to a Whiskers foster home, it was the start of a better life – but Minerva couldn’t have known that. “She was very scared and probably very confused,” recalls her foster mom. Still, a loving, strong creature quickly emerged, bringing to mind a certain Harry Potter character. “I named her Minerva after Professor Minerva McGonagall. She proved to be very maternal, but also strong and fiery when she needs to be, just like her namesake.” Minerva is still learning to trust and would thrive in a home where she can find a quiet, private space. At the same time, this beautiful girl is quickly won over with Churus and scratches behind the ears. “She’s learning that people can be a source of not just food, but love and cuddles. … I’m hopeful that she, too, can experience the joys of being a well-loved kitten.” Is your home where Minerva will find a magical new life?
