When Mickey and his buddy, Pluto, were brought to Whiskers TNR from an outdoor colony, naming the duo after the beloved Disney characters just clicked. They’re both just so good-natured and fun to watch! While Pluto is the playful one, mellow Mickey seems savor all the snooze spots that indoor life offers. “He naps ALL the time. In beds, in the cat trees, on the ground. ALL the time,” laughs the staff at Smitten Kitten, where these sweet boys await adoption. Both tested positive for FIV, but they can still have happy, healthy lives with a little extra care. For instance, when Mickey isn’t counting sheep, he’s batting around his favorite ferret toy or learning how much he likes chin scratches and pets. Smitten Kitten staff thinks he might even grow to enjoy kids younger than 6. “He is pretty chill. … My favorite thing about him is that he can nap anywhere – and doesn’t seem to care if it’s comfy or not!” Can Mickey curl up next to you?
