Mercy is a chubby monkey now, but she’s well on her way to becoming a svelte snuggler. When she arrived at Whiskers, she was 24 pounds! “She has already lost a few pounds in my care,” says her foster mom. “She does enjoy her weight-loss kibble. She comes running when the bowl is filled!” But even though it’s important to get Mercy to a healthier weight, we do love her “squeezable body” and adorable “bulldog stance” in the meantime. Mercy’s favorite things include watching the world through a window or from a cat tree, zipping around the house with surprising speed, and swapping affection with her people. She and her sister, Gracie, were returned to Whiskers TNR through no fault of their own. “Mercy rubs on me and loves to be petted. She is shy but loving, sweet and sassy.” Can Mercy find peace again with you?
