With his stunning buff coat, easygoing personality and expert lap cat abilities, Martin was always destined to be a standout. But when he first arrived at Whiskers, he turned heads for a heartbreaking reason: He’d apparently been shot and needed one of his front legs amputated due to a severe fracture. But according to his foster mom, even that hasn’t held him back! Now he’s living an “absolutely normal life,” whether it’s going up and down stairs or jumping onto her lap for the cuddles he’s always craving. “This boy is the absolute sweetest. The only thing he wants to do is sit on your lap and get all of the scratches. He loves being scratched behind the ear.” In fact, Martin is so smitten with people, he doesn’t pay much attention to other cats or dogs. “I think he will do well in most homes.
