Leonardo came to Whiskers TNR with very little people experience. Still, volunteers saw something flicker in him – that potential to be someone’s beloved pet. His foster mom confirms that there have been “huge developments” toward that goal. Although still timid, “he loves to be around his humans and cat friend, Raffy,” she said, referring to Leonardo’s BFF, Raphael, who is also available for adoption. Leonardo enjoys looking out the window and has fully mastered the art of tackling cat toys. He’s been unfazed by the family bulldog, was “kind and curious” when the resident cat snuck in to see him, and has spent time around his foster family’s kids, ages 9, 4 and 2 (although his foster mom suspects he may enjoy older kids and a quieter home). But even in the busyness of his current setting, “I love how curious he has become of us. It is clear he wants love and attention, but still is unsure how to fully trust. He is really trying! Leo needs to find a trusted human to help him continue to be a wonderful indoor cat.” Are you just the person to win over Leonardo?
