Juno is incredibly sweet and a little shy – which can make life extra hard for a kitten trying to survive on the streets. First, she tried to make herself at home outside a residence where the person threatened her. Thankfully, allies of Whiskers TNR were able to intercede. “My husband volunteered to take her home with him instead, and she had lived with us for a couple of months,” explained the very kind woman who first took her in. And the couple fell in love with Juno, who enjoys cuddles on her own terms, playing with teaser toys and especially a penthouse view. “Typically, we would find Juno up high, watching over the rest of the house. When we would approach her while she was up on the cupboards, she would hop down and let us give her kisses on the forehead and a few scritches on the cheeks.” Unfortunately, not everyone was amused. While Juno was buddies with two of the family’s cats, others picked on her, making her caregivers realize that a Whiskers foster home would be a better fit. That is, until Juno’s forever hero comes along – hopefully someone with friendly cats, high-up places for Juno’s climbing expeditions, and an appreciation for her sweet spirit. “I know she's going to make a great companion for someone.”
