Not long ago, Jean and the rest of the “Vogue Boutique Litter” were orphan kittens desperate for help. Thankfully, some kind humans took them in and soon brought them to Whiskers. Jean, named for the legendary Jean Harlow, had an especially rough start with a nasty respiratory infection. While she’s healthy now, her quiet cuddliness seems to be a lasting effect. “She’s been known to sit on the top of the couch near my shoulder and purr in my ear while giving me tiny kisses,” says her foster mom. But when it’s time to pounce on a spring toy or savor some wet food? Jean shows that her sweetness does come with a little sass! “If Jean needs to share with her sisters when eating wet food, she will growl in the cutest way possible as she dives in. She’s actually a pretty good sharer, but her growl seems to say, ‘Back away, I want it all!’” But at the top of Jean’s list is a home of her very own.
