In the “Famous Figures Litter,” Francis is the namesake of Frances Perkins. Haven't heard of her? She was the first female U.S. Secretary of Labor, who served under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to pioneer the New Deal, Social Security and labor reforms. Well, Francis the kitten is on his own quest for feline fairness. “If one of the food dishes is low, or there is a complaint to be heard, he will be the first to tell you about it,” says his foster mom. “He’s the smallest in the litter, but he will be heard!” And if there’s no protest to be made, or toy to be swatted around, Francis is content to be an adorable observer. His foster mom’s favorite thing about him is how he “shows love and kindness to his littermates while also making sure his needs are met.” Can Francis lead the charge to a forever home with you?
