In the “Caffeinated Litter,” Espresso had a jittery time of it for a while. First, he became “pretty sick” with an upper respiratory infection, according to his foster dad. Then, “one day we found
his eye to be extremely swollen” as a result. Despite Espresso’s veterinarian and foster parents trying every treatment they could, it became clear that this sweet boy’s eye couldn’t be saved.
Espresso had a hard recovery at first after surgery, but now? True to his name, he’s re-energized at this fresh start at a better life! “He is such a sweet and outgoing boy.” His foster dad especially likes how Espresso is “always looking to play with a kitty friend,” his “very unique” color pattern, and how his one remaining eye is THE brightest shade of blue. Espresso would thrive in nearly any home. After all, he may be missing an eye, but he comes with a double shot of love!
