Ed

Edamame – also known as Ed – is nothing short of a miracle. First, he was spotted on the edge of a farm field when he was just a baby weighing about half of what he should. Second, when he struggled to thrive once in the care of Whiskers, a veterinarian got to the bottom of why: He had FIP, which he wouldn’t survive without treatment. BUT, Ed was ready to amaze us again! Thirty days into starting his medicine, Ed “is doing wonderful. He is active, eating great, playful and loving,” according to his Whiskers caregiver. “Ed has a great personality. He greets you whenever you walk in the room and follows you around just wanting to be picked up and loved on.” Ed’s neuter surgery and vaccinations will need to be delayed until after his treatment is
complete, but we don’t want him to wait that long to find the loving family he so deserves.  That’s why we’re seeking a foster-to-adopt home for this very special boy. Ed’s favorite thing –besides swapping affection with people – is to snuggle in a heated bed. It’s a heartwarming sight his future people will get to enjoy, just like knowing they’ve given this whiskered miracle a
happy ending. “He a such a sweet boy that has been to the brink and back. … He deserves to be in a home with people to love him.”
