We think it’s fitting that Denali was named for Denali National Park in Alaska, which has the tallest peak in the U.S. Our Denali certainly had her own mountain to climb to be adoption ready! This beautiful girl arrived at Whiskers with four kittens in tow – Mesa, Yosemite, Joshua and Zion – but was struggling to care for them. It turned out she was still in labor! While that final baby didn’t survive, we’re incredibly thankful that Denali did, thanks to an emergency trip to the veterinarian. “She is so sweet and stands at the front of the kennel meowing for attention,”
says her foster dad. “We have found that she really enjoys playing with stuffed catnip toys. It is really funny to watch!” But what Denali wants most is to find a quieter forever home “where she can feel safe to be the sweet, silly girl that she is.” Will Denali’s happy personality will reach
