For just a cute little kitten, Courage sure has a knack for defying the odds! First, when she was found as an orphan weighing only 100 grams, she found a surrogate mama cat in Shy, who was already in Whiskers TNR’s care. Then, it was only at a recent checkup that Courage revealed that she even is a “she,” a rarity among orange cats. But even with a back story like that, Courage stands out the most for her love of people. “She is the first to greet me and, of course, request pets,” says her foster mom. “Her motor will set off immediately when you grant the request.” Courage even lets the kids in her foster family “pass her around like a doll for cuddles” and makes canine friends after a careful introduction.
