Hi! My Name Is Bob

It’s not easy to be a sweet-tempered tomcat living on the street. Bob could tell you. Mere weeks ago, he was just trying to survive but kept coming up on the losing end of fights, his handsome black-and-white coat dotted with bite wounds. Thank goodness he was found by the brother of a longtime Whiskers supporter who brought Bob to us for help. And now? “Lap cat alert!” reports his foster mom. “He is hands down one of the nicest cats I have had the pleasure to foster.” He’s also one of the most unique, named for his bobbed tail that wags like a dog when he sees people. “It’s about three inches long and he can really get it moving! It’s so cute.” He’s a little shy about exploring his foster home, but within days of arriving would “chirp” hello and immediately crawl onto his foster mom’s lap for snuggles. His coat is “so soft you can’t stop petting him,” and he even tends to reach out a paw to have that extra bit of contact. “After about five minutes, he quickly adjusts himself and lies on his back for pets. It’s as if to say, ‘Here I am, and I trust and adore you!’ You can't help but adore him back.”
