This one-eyed beauty has had a long road to finding her forever home, but she’s finally ready to find her people – and what lucky people they’ll be! Annie’s appearance is only the beginning of why she’s so special, from the utterly adorable cooing noises she makes in her sleep to how she thinks she’s a dog. “I have on several occasions had her play tug-of-war with the blanket that is usually on my lap,” says her foster mom. “She will grab it with her teeth and shake her head
back and forth as though she is a lab.” Annie had a rough start in life, part of a large outdoor colony that Whiskers worked to help in 2023. Then an eye injury and infection led to eye-removal surgery. But this “spunky but loving” girl has healed completely and is back to attacking blankets – or stretching out on them to cuddle with her favorite people.
