Adopt a Cat

At Whiskers TNR of Warren County, we work hard to make sure our pets are never in need of rescue again.
Whiskers TNR - Jeff
Please take a moment to review our ADOPTION PROCESS below.
Our goal is to find safe, responsible, and loving families for our cats.

Whiskers TNR’s primary purpose is to offset expenses for spay and neuter for Warren County cats. The unwanted kittens that are relocated into our foster homes during TNR projects are adopted out through Whiskers. We will occasionally help another rescue organization or cat in need if we have the resources available.

While we never adopt a cat or kitten that we have reason to believe is ill or has been exposed to disease, there are no adequate tests for certain viruses and infections. We adopt out cats in good faith but cannot guarantee their continued good health. All veterinary services required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter unless specifically waived by Whiskers TNR of Warren County for advanced medical and special needs adoptions.

It is the responsibility of you, the adopter, to establish a relationship for veterinary care for your new cat or kitten within 14 days of adoption. It is expected that you will continue veterinary care and annual wellness exams provided by a licensed veterinarian.
