If we gave out “most improved” awards to Whiskers kitties, Charlotte would be a contender. When she first arrived here after being found as a stray, she was so scared that she just hid in her kennel. But this beautiful dilute tortie loves people so much, she was determined to be brave! “Charlotte is a shy girl but has so much love to give,” says her foster mom. “When she wants pets, she will grab my hand with her front paws and give me a few licks to encourage me to pay attention to her.” In fact, even though Charlotte is a youngster, she prefers pets to playing and is already an expert lap cat. She’d thrive in a quieter home and, according to her foster mom, is one of those cats who seems “so thankful” to be cared for after her former life on the street. “She will beg for pets and loves it when someone provides her a lap for her to sit on. She would love to have her own dedicated humans to shower with love.”
