On New Year’s Eve – the day the world lost Betty White – a mother cat and her kittens were found trying to survive in the bitter cold. Of course, it only felt right that we name the beautiful mama after the beloved actress and animal lover! Our Betty “purrs every time I pet her – often before I even touch her,” says her foster mom. She’s also been known to lovingly rub the side of her face against her human’s hand, and her favorite pastime is watching the world from a sunny windowsill. Betty is sweetly timid and would thrive in a quieter home, but she’s making steady progress toward another favorite perch: a lap. “I think she has good potential to be a lap cat with lots of patience – on the side of humans.
