Dot may be short and sweet like her name, but she can carry quite the conversation. “She can be
pretty vocal,” explains her foster mom. “She makes this chirping noise sometimes. It’s so cute!”
She has a rumbly purr, too, which is heard often because she loves to cuddle. Dot would do well
in a home with kids or other pets because she also likes to play, even with her pesky kitten
brother. “She has been great since day one,” says her foster mom. “Nothing to overcome here
except putting up with her brother, Bandit!”

Observing various pet rescue organizations and the struggles they face in their daily operations, The Buzz Group has built a web-based, integrated software platform to support the efforts of these groups. The Buzz to the Rescues platform is designed to integrate and simplify the administrative tasks surrounding dogs, cats, adopters, fosters, volunteers, events and donations for the organization.

The integrated platform easily links dogs to fosters and new owners, while tracking medical history, and dispositions for the dogs and cats. The application process helps maintain family and home information in one place and offers online home visit detail and approval process for potential adopters. Finally, once adopted, dogs, cats and new owners are linked for historical purposes.
